Arise Sir Bono
I hear that Bono is to be given an Honorary Knighthood by The Queen in recognition of his Music and campaigning activities. This is the same honour that was bestowed upon Bob Geldof as a non-UK national. I'm marking this by listening to Achtung Baby ...:guitarist

I shall listen to Elgar in honour of the Queen in order to reciprocate the gesture. Perhaps the Taoiseach should make her an honourary member of the River Dance cast as a gesture of goodwill?

Good for Bono - he could sit on his arse and keep making millions but he chooses to work for humanity. He's a good man.
Love Nimrod too. Played at Churchills funeral I think :-3

You guys over there would know better than I, probably, but as I understand
it, he can't use the "Sir"?
Not to take anything away from what he does... to use an overworked
word, it's AWESOME.

Val, you are right, as he is not a British Subject, he cannot be called Sir Bono!
