Glen Labella has been looking for a fight for years. He's an evangelical JW.

Ahso PM'd me yesterday saying he'd had a PM from TrueCompanion so you're probably right.

I'll see if I can find out how many PMs he's sending out.

For what it's worth he's been described as an online bully from as long ago as ten years.

Thirteen so far this year, nine of them today with the same title. Seventy three in the seven months he's been here.

Does that constitute abuse of the system?

I would think so.

At best, it seems to fall under a violation of #1.3

Depending, I suppose on the definition of "mass-PM or mass-email multiple members"

Nine in one day could qualify as mass (?)

This person (?) sent me this same message by PM and, sorry to say, I suggested he contact Ted ! Sorry Ted. I did that because I am not religious, so I felt I couldn't advise him. You know, I must be so trusting of folk that come onto sites like this. Don't I ever learn. There are a lot of idiots and dangerous ones too, out there. So why don't I learn to be less naive ? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

By the way Bryn and Spot, please can we have our smileys back.

We're fighting it, unfortunately it's fighting back at the moment but we are making progress.

I understand completely. Would you like to be the right person to ask so that you are able to use "the word of God" to bring relief to others? -1 Thess. 2:13.

Awaiting your answer,

T.P.

Bryn or spot, I do not want to be plagued by any religious 'nut' such as this person, so is it possible to warn him off somehow?

By the way, I am unable to use the colour or the 'bold' icons, so I'm assuming that none of them will work. Is it my laptop or something to do with FG?

OK, I've turned off his ability to use the PM system, let's see what happens next :-)

So (s)he immediately generated a new user ID (headsup) and started again.

New ID banned permanently, truecompanion banned for a month and any further shenanigens will be banned permanently.

"Iudaeos impulsore Chresto assidue tumultuantis Roma expulit", as it were. Bravo.

He's not easy to recognize from his profile, the only consistent thing he does is to select GMT+6 as his timezone which not many people do.

http://professing.proboards.com/thread/ ... trated-jws

His real DOB is 11/26/1950, he sticks to 1950 when registering as far as I can tell but I'd not rely on that.

He is without doubt a relentless rogue in need of persecution.

It did sort of make it obvious when (s)he (headsup) signed the PM with the same e-mail address as truecompanion :wah:

Sending one of the PMs to me was not the smartest idea either - definitely a headsup that was :-)
