The Evolution of Nicolas Cage's Hair

Post by tabby »

This amusing video of Nicolas Cage's various movie hairstyles over the years must have been a labor of love because I can't imagine taking the time to piece it together otherwise! Although he's not my favorite actor, I do get a kick out of him for some reason and I vacillate between considering him a touch hammy or a very good under-appreciated film star.

The first movie I saw him in was "Raising Arizona" which was also my first Coen Brothers' film and I absolutely loved the quirky humor. It remains a favorite. I think the last movie I saw him in was "Weatherman" and that was two or three years ago. I've never seen any of his action films mainly because the genre doesn't appeal to me. Most of what I've seen him in are comedies with a few dramas thrown in there for good measure. I don't know what he's up to these days!

Love the music in the video! :guitarist

I'd forgotten how long he's been acting. Geez, that last shot was a little scary. I guess I'd rate Cage an average actor who's had his moments. He absolutely killed it in Leaving Las Vegas.

I recognize some of them but not as many as I thought I would! I picked out Sharon Tate, Diana Ross & the Supremes, Goldie Hawn, Bridgette Bardot, Raquel Welch & Ursula Andress. Was Cher in there? I thought one of them favored her but I couldn't tell for sure.
