i found this photo of an albino peacock, and was so amazed by its ethereal beauty! do you have some favorite species of birds? pics?

I think LCs probably posted the most beautiful picture...but i love these mandarin ducks...they look as if the colours have been painted on them.

Bez, I don't know if it's the same bird, (it sure looks like it) but we have one in parts of the country here that looks just like that called a "wood duck." And I am getting ready for work, so I don't have time to get you a pic.

I like the Canadian geese, because they signal the seasons. They stop here for a spell on both flights, and I think they are very cool.

I love birds.. always have. Id like to be a bird in another life.I like Blue Buntings, Finches, Chickadees, Hummingbirds and I love Geese. They remind me of the fairy tale.. when the sister had 7 brothers who were turned into geese and she had to weave them coats out of gold thread.. that cut her fingers to ribbons.. in order to turn them back into men.

You are cute... and you know it. i think you are that tough cute type that I was when I was younger. I always thought tough was sexy. Weak was pathetic. Now Im MUTE.... keep my mouth shut and pray to God that someone thinks Im " cute"

another bird i love is our florida flamingo...its color isn't the usual pepto-bismol pink you see in the ubiquitous and tasteful plastic yard decorations.:rolleyes:
