Are you a hunter: yes or no? (explain)
I think the argument of necessity when it comes to hunting is overplayed. With the exception of a few dietary disorders and illnesses, no one really needs to eat meat to survive, ever. Enjoying a steak and disliking hunting is pretty hypocritical.

<t>I hunted for 2 or 3 years, I never killed anything. I just wanted to spend time with my dad. I don't find it objectionable when done in a sporting way, 1 shot, 1 kill. As hobbies go, waking up a 4am and being miserably cold is less than appealing to me. Punching holes in paper, that's just fun ye...

I don't think that prohibition is the answer to the drug problem. Aside from creating a dangerous black market , it asserts that adults aren't responsible enough to make their own decisions on what they want to put in their bodies.

Tobacco's the most addictive, alcohol's the most lethal.
I think that this is only true because of their commonality. In much the same way that sparklers are the most dangerous firework and swimming pools accidentally kill more children than handguns.

I think it's fairly common for people to get shot during turkey season. It's one of the few hunting seasons that allows firearms but doesn't require blaze orange.
