It's a banana spider, a female. If you see a smaller one in the web, it's her hubby. We've one in the back yard, and she's just as big. They'll die in the cool weather, eventually, but their eggs should hatch out next spring.

Mom passed, much going on

My mom passed, from COPD, a month ago. Since then, we almost lost MIL as well, to congestive heart failure.



I also am undergoing something very intense, very stressful, at this time. I can't go into any details here, but hope it doesn't take too long.

My mom passed away this past Monday, 16 July. Obviously, it was quite a shock. She had a lovely send off though, and I'm just grateful she is no longer suffering and struggling to breathe.
