Hello everyone. It was nice to receive the email. Life has changed I am retired now. But it is good. Just quiet without the daily school bells. I spend my time taking care of my husband, tai chi and riding horses. I shall bookmark the site and visit you all.

The snow is still melting here in Baltimore, schools still closed. But I think enough will melt away we can return tomorrow. Lots of shoveling for days, lots of refreezing ice at night.

Ranked #1 snowfall in DC/Baltimore. Drifts were about 6' or more, had to shovel side of house 3 times to keep the heat. But no school today. :)

Oh it is sad story, and I heard the lion killed was quite a famous one. I know many countries in Africa allow hunting with licenses of certain animals, as a source of revenue.

I use olive oil when cooking. Betty, I know coconut oil is the latest thing, but I didn't know about putting it on you for nice skin. Gosh we used to tan with olive oil, and that sure doesn't do you any good forty years later. It's better in the skillet.

Thank you for your insight Lars. I wasn't planning on Jamaica for a stop, I was thinking Bermuda, Bahamas and some of the smaller islands.

I saw that Cuba is in possible future dates, that would be an interesting stop.
