City Considering Reverting to Town.

Any more word on the reversion? I think they tried it up here in Buena Vista. I don't know if they actually got it done.

On Race - Keep Dreaming.

I just posted in "Spots" thread about Darfur in the Sudan. I know we can't be the policeman of the world, but shouldn't the UN be doing something about the racial genocide that is happening there?

Hasn't the civil war in the Sudan been going on for years and years? Isn't that exactly the kind of thing the UN was put in place to handle?

<t>I don't think it's such a bad idea. I've been kind of hesitant to post some ideas not wanting to violate rules. I decided to join because of some posts "ChiptBeef" made about Virginia issues. I learned here the forum's rules are already posted. This thread also seems to have brought about other g...

Recycled City Slogan and Motto?

I remember reading reports that have Martinsville usually in the top 5 cities in Virginia as far as unemployment numbers. At one time, I think their unemployment percentage was in the double digits. I don't know what it is now, but I hope it's getting better.

I always thought the "Michelin (?) Man" made of white tires was kind of spooky. It's funny what scares you as a kid.

Something needs to be done about that Iranian madman. The Special Forces, Seals or Marine Recon could get the job done. Easy in - easy out.

<t>Real good points. The original 1st Amendment was about reapportionment and the original 2nd Amendment was about pay raises for congress. There is a web site that reprints them, but I couldn't post it because I don't have 15 posts yet. At least thats the message I got. It's sponsored by The Consti...
