I'm conservative in the traditional sense of the word (sometimes known as an Eisenhower conservative), which puts me somewhere left of center in today's political climate. I'm registered democrat. The republican party is the party of neo-conservatives.

Drugs are the wrong approach. People should accept their unpleasant emotions and simply observe them rather than suffer from them. We are not our emotions and we are not our thoughts. As an objective observer of our emotions, they quickly become neutralized and fade away.

The "right to bear arms" was instituted in 1776 at a time when 'arms' meant muskets. So the constitution gives us the right to bear muskets. I don't have a problem with that. I'm not so sure about AK-47s, though.
