Watching a show on a woman killing her abusive husband
<t>Circumstances, Umbetta, circumstances. At first light it would be natural to assume that the woman went back to her abusive husband, so she is 'just asking for it', or that it really wasn't as bad as she made it sound, which would not give her any justification for killing him, whatsoever.<br/> <...

Welcome, Richard. I, too, spend a lot of time in the dark--unfortunately it has nothing to do with my job, and more to do with wondering what is going on in my life.
Glad to meet you.

Hey, Alfred, welcome. Worked with an Aussie a few years back. Can't think of her real name, but we called her Skippy--something about a cartoon kangaroo that's popular over there.....

<t>DesignerGal, I've been where you are, and know the feeling is not a good one. Fortunately, my story had a happy ending--or should I say 3 of them. After years of infertility treatments, surgery for malformed tubes and polycystic ovaries, I was ready to rip the heads off well-meaning people who to...

Pantyhose for men
When my STBX was training horses at a local racetrack, he complained about the cold. I suggested pantyhose for him. He tried them and said they worked wonders. A lot of the jockeys wear them as well.

<t>I live out in the toolies on a dirt road (by choice), about 4 miles outside the village. When I first moved out here, there was no one within a radius of 1 mile. <t>Jasmund, I'm assuming from question #1 that you're adopted. As the adoptive Mom of 2 daughters, I'd always told the girls that their birth-mothers MUST have loved them, as there are solutions other than adoption for pregnancy. Oldest daughter never wanted to know her background. Told me she had o...

Aha, Minks--clear may not be a specific 'color', but you can look through it and see all the other colors---also, would rather see the world 'clear-ly' than through tinted shades.

LOL My first record, bought when I was 11, was one none of you probably have ever heard of, titled "Running Bear". Don't remember who it was by, but it was about 2 star-crossed Indian lovers. My sisters and I used to act it out, dramatic little dweebs that we were.
