GMC it's like asking turkeys to vote for christmas, they know damn well that half of them would lose their seats. However unfair forst past the post is I guess it's better than some of the coalition type govermnets which is what we would end up with.

We would do well in these times when we get so upset about caualties numbered in tens per day to cast our minds back to WW1, in one battle (the Somme) there were 60,000 allied casualities in the first two hours of battle, yep that is 60,000.
